Versatile D-Speed SE Fiber Laser Offers Big Cutting Capabilities, Small Footprint

Big metal cutting capabilities don’t always come in big packages---as the new compact DNE D-Speed SE Fiber Laser is designed to prove. DNE Laser’s newest release, the affordable D-Speed SE, delivers big cutting capabilities in a small footprint---as trim as 15.8x8.7 feet (1530 format) and as large as 36.7x11.9 feet (2040 format)---with powerful laser wattages up to 12kW.

While it may not take up a significant section of the shop floor, this laser offers a long list of the features every facility needs:

·      Productivity. Much like its larger fiber laser cousin, the D-Speed SE is built for fast, efficient cutting. It can achieve 1.0 G acceleration and 100 m/min positioning speed.

·      Accuracy and Power. The D-Speed SE comes with an intelligent cutting head co-developed with the Swiss team that offers speed, stability and precision. The D-Speed SE is available in 3, 6 and 12kW (see more specs here).

·      Safety. The D-Speed SE is fully enclosed for safety, minimizing the risk of workplace injuries from sparks. And with a safety fence, safety light curtain, and multiple e-stop buttons, the D-Speed SE can stop quickly when needed.

·      Easy maintenance. DNE designed the D-Speed SE with an integrated electrical cabinet for convenient access. This compact fiber laser also comes with a cabinet cooling system that maintains a stable temperature, ensuring long, productive running time.

·      Operational Efficiency. With two viewing windows, a movable operating console and an optional camera, the operator can monitor the cutting table during cutting and prepare for the next job.

The D-Speed SE is a versatile laser built with a gantry-style design, ensuring that every inch of cutting space is maximized and that sheets are easy to load and unload. This laser can cut a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, brass and more.

As with every other DNE machine sold by DNE Laser USA, the D-Speed SE is supported by the OpEx Service Team. The OpEx Service Team provides prompt support to all DNE customers in the US and Canada throughout the life of the machine---from installation to part orders to training to tech support and maintenance.
